Well I’m in Virginia now
My MIL & FIL called on Wednesday and asked if I wanted to come up with the kids to stay with them since David was going to be leaving for an ORI (Operational Readiness Inspection) in Michigan, so I talked it over with him and then decided that I would go ahead and go. Well then Thursday he calls the furniture company (don’t recall if I mentioned we’re getting new couches this month
…) and they tell him that the couches will be arriving on the 5th and he tells me then that I can’t leave since someone has to be here to receive them. Well I know how my darling hubby can be and I know he didn’t ask many questions, lol. So I called them up Friday morning and asked them what the process is and where the couches go first and who gets called when, they get a call 2 days before the furniture arrives with THEM and then they call US and schedule a good date for delivery. Sheesh, so I was good to go
So all yesterday evening I spent packing our clothes for the car ride at 9:30am… man was I tired
I went to bed at 1am and woke up at 5:45am and went for my run at 6am since I hadn’t run yesterday morning. So here I am… 9-something at night and my eyes are HURTING, lol!! I’m SO going to sleep soundly tonight
So before I go heading to bed, I’m gonna catch you all up on what’s going on with my friend Renee’s daughter Aubrey which I wrote out this morning.
Aubrey was given a referral by the doctor on base to be taken to MUSC Peds ER on Thursday morning where they gave her two bags of IV Fluids to rehydrate her and kept her there the whole morning and most of the afternoon. As far as they could tell without seeing the lab work they had no idea what was wrong with her and couldn’t give her any medication to treat her since they couldn’t diagnose it.
Yesterday I called Renee to see how Aubrey was doing and for the better part I guess you could say she’s feeling slightly better (which I know for sure had to do with being so dehydrated), she’s still having diarrhea and milder stomach cramps. The doctor’s or nurses for that matter haven’t gotten back to her about the labs, but I can tell you from my own personal resources
that the labs are indeed in, lol. So I guess at this point since it’s the weekend she’ll just have to wait until Monday to talk to the doctor, I suggested she just go up there and talk to either him or his nurse since according to the appointment line it’ll take the doctor 3 days to just return her phone call (I think it’s crazy to have to wait even this long on reading lab work!).
Haley got to talk to her friend on the phone yesterday and it was the cutest thing to hear them tell each other they loved one another and that she hopes she gets better really soon
She was thanking Haley (and Michael) for the get well soon card and gift they gave her. Lol, I decided against Haley getting her flowers because it just seemed a bit morbid to tell someone get well soon and in a couple of days your flowers die… yeah I think that way
Anyhoo, if I hear anything else or if they ever figure out what’s going on I’ll let you all know and just to let you know Renee and her family REALLY appreciate(d) the prayers that were sent and thanks you all ![]()
Well that’s it for me today, I’m out like trout dude’s and dudette’s, lol! Oh one more thing!! I updated CFC with new graphics and a new layout and I had to reinstall a new plugboard, so if you’ve got a site and a logo the size of 88×31 then feel free to post and if you get a chance leave me a tag and let me know whatcha think ![]()
Okay now I’m off to la-la land… ![]()
