So I called the Elementary School on Tuesday morning to find out when Registration for Kindergarten was for the next year and the lady told me the 1st of March… so I’m like ‘okay thanks I’ll be in on the 1st then ‘. Well, later that afternoon my phone rang and when I looked at my caller id the school’s name was coming up, so I answered the phone and the lady proceeds to tell me that there is a slot open for Haley in her PreK class if I’m still interested (I’m thinking this is weird considering the school year is almost over, but hey better than nothing I guess). Besides being stumped at the call… HECK yes I’m still interested! So today my baby girl started Preschool … she had a wonderful day and I was there for the early morning half of it. She’s got her day all set up for her and not a dull moment in between the 7:30am to 2:30pm day for her, lol! My poor little Michael was a little lonely when we got back home and he asked for his sister a few times throughout the day, he was definitely a happy camper when she came home… life was normal for him again , lol.

Anyhoo, sorry I haven’t been around too much this week… it’s just been one thing after the next once I got that phone call ! My baby is growing up …. but it’s all for the best right? She’s ready to go again she told me as we were walking home, she said she even made a new friend and I’m happy for her. But I of course knew she’d make some friends, she’s quite a social butterfly if you ask me.

Michael and I are MUCH better thank you all so much for asking and all the well wishes and prayers sent our way… and special chicken soup from one particular smoochums So all in all, it was a good day for us… emotional for some *points to self* and very exciting for others *points to Haley*, lol. I love being a mommy

Btw, Haley didn’t cry once… should I be relieved or sad, lol?!

Well, I got the results back yesterday on the Strep test and it was negative. So while Michael was starting to feel tons better already, I was starting to feel worse… PLUS I started having this nagging pain on the left side of my stomach right under my ribs . Hubby called in the afternoon and told me he was scheduling me to see one of the docs for Friday (today). So I spent the whole night with this nagging pain in my side and tried to eat a light dinner, so hubby made me a chicken quesadilla (it was pretty small and light), well not long after I had finished it that I got the nausea feeling in the pit of my tummy. I had to come to a complete stop on my way to the computer to check my emails because I got that sweet taste in my mouth that I only recognize as the bile wanting to come up, so I wasted not another step going to the computer and turned around to head towards the bathroom instead where the quesadilla came back to greet me . So I spent the rest of the evening tossing and turning AGAIN because the pain in my side wouldn’t subside and my head still felt cloudy and light .

I finally made it to my appointment this morning and first thing I had to do was go to the lab where they wanted a lovely urine sample… thanks for the notice folks, I wouldn’t have gone pee just before leaving the house had I know they needed it, lol! So after that lovely deed was done back to the waiting room I went to wait to be called in and evaluated. Thankfully the pregnancy part of the urine test was negative… can we say RELIEVED !!! I love my kids, but two is DEFINITELY more than enough for this gal! On the negative side, they found blood in my urine and the pains in my side and sideback indicate that I may have a kidney infection along with the UTI that I now have… and the cause of my sore throat and ill feeling? Bacterial Infection. Now let me ask you, where in the name of heaven did I get the Bacterial and UTI ?!?! ICK! So now I’ve got 3 meds prescribed to me to kick the bacteria and UTI out of my system… hopefully the kidney one hasn’t progressed so far that I won’t need any more medicine .

So in a wrap here, I’ve got a UTI, Bacterial, and possibly a Kidney infection to kick out of my system now. No dang wonder I’ve been so exhausted this week, taking care of a sick baby PLUS myself being eaten alive from the inside will definitely have been the cause to my fatigue . WHICH btw, they (the kids) drove me absolutely BATTY at both the doctor’s office AND waiting for my meds at the pharmacy !

Okay I think I’ve yapped enough and probably gave more info about me this week than you probably wanted to hear !
