Woo hoo, just had to share my joy with you all! David made the E-5 Staff Sergeant listing! Thank goodness too because he was starting to get down about it since he missed the last two by mere points (the last one was by 2). I think he said his line number is around 1100, if he’s lucky he’ll be able to pin on before he deploys ! I’m so happy and proud of him I tell ya, last year he missed it by a measly 1 or 2 points off… if you ask me if someone gets it that close they should just give it to them for pity’s sake! I think the promotion rate for E-5 is at 40% this year and last year I think it was at 30%, so yeah I’ll agree it can be a tough test for many. Congrats hunny !

Tonight we’ll be going to Haley’s “Meet The Teacher” night at her school. Tuesday we got a postcard in the mail addressed to Haley from her new Kindergarten teachers, let me tell ya… that girl has been so excited to meet them that she’s taken to sleeping with the bloody post card ever since she got it !! Woo hoo, can’t wait to go see where her new class is going to be ! My MIL got both Haley and Michael new clothes and mailed it all down here in a box, lol! Thank heavens for her I tell ya because Haley was REALLY needing new clothes!! I have 2 boxes full of clothes that she’s outgrown in the last year alone!! Grief, this is so sad when you can actually see how much your child is growing *sniff*… Michael got himself some new little duds too, now the only thing left for me to get them are new tennis shoes, I really fell in love with a BUNCH of shoes over at the Sketchers outlet…. might have to get myself a pair too, rofl!

Oh, I changed the look to CFC last week and didn’t get a chance to mention it… please stop by and tell me what you thing? I went away from the typical cutesy country graphics and went with a cutesy goth theme, lol! I know that’s SO not me either, but the mood just hit me to go in that direction . Also had to reinstall my tagboard and plugboard on the site since I moved it over to my faeryscribbles server (who wants to have to go to 2 Cpanel’s everytime?) and well I couldn’t take my entries with me. So if you have a site (personal or business) feel free to leave your plug .

Well, I gotta go fold some laundry and get breakfast for my kiddo’s!

Well I HAD a nice long lengthy post written on Tuesday night… I went to add a new Category and got some sort of needing permission error (don’t ask me what that was all about) and so I just went to Publish the post and then next thing I knew *poof*… my dang post was GONE!! I was so ticked off… I was hoping that MAYBE it would’ve saved what I had written, no such luck. All it managed to save was the first paragraph of my post, there were like 5 or 6 total… you’re probably thinking “thank heavens it didn’t save”, lol!

Anyhoo, not doing too much lately… just trying to make friends with some of the other ‘wives’ on this side of the base since David’s deployment is coming up on us fast I’m having a hard time trying NOT to think about this one (the location is different from his last one) . Anyhoo, so if you don’t see too much of me online it’s because I’m spending as much time as possible with David when he’s not at work and getting to know my new ‘acquaintances’, which btw some of the gals set up a get to know eachother dinner for tomorrow night at The Crab Shack (I won’t be eating much, their food didn’t impress me last time I ate there, lol).

Haley’s going to be starting Kindergarten in the new few weeks (I believe school begins the 21st or the 23rd), so we’ll be needing to go pick up supplies for the school year that I got from the school’s website. She really should be going to 1st if you ask me, but since you have to be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1st here she missed it by 2 months (her birthday is in Nov.). Meet The Teacher night is on the 16th so David and I will be taking both kiddo’s to go meet and greet her new teacher for the year and find out where her new class will be. She’s so excited, but sad at the same time. She loves her teachers from Pre-k and when I told her that a lot of the kids from her old class probably won’t be in her new class she got a little upset, she’s not the type that likes a lot of change if you know what I mean. Michael on the other hand, lol! He’s excited that his sister is going to be going back to “Skoo”, he can have the television and my attention all to himself again. He’s funny about that though, he loves taking his sister to school, but then when it comes to doing somethings in and out of the house he doesn’t want to do it without his sister. He likes to be on his own, but he loves his sister and when he gets something he expects her to get something as well They’re both like that, makes a momma proud I tell ya .

I did manage to get SOME drawing in this week, came up with 3 new tag’s… well 5 really, but I did those the week before, I just didn’t put them on the site until this week with the other 3 . If you love Coffee/Tea/or a nice hot cup of Cocoa you just may like these new tag’s @ CFC . Well, I’m off to go clean a litter box and fold some laundry, gonna to go Old Navy this afternoon and see if I can’t find me a new cool top … or maybe I’ll just to go AE.
