I got back yesterday afternoon from my visit to California and my family . I love them dearly, but man I was ready to come home already . So we got home and 2 shiny new bikes were waiting for my babies when they walked through the door … Santa left them each a new bike. This is Michael’s first real bike w/training wheels and Haley’s first bike w/o training wheels o.O!

Michael loves his and has already started riding it, Haley we’ll test out tomorrow since we were all busy here and some of us slept in a bit… I had some jet lag, can’t say what the others had, lol! Along with bikes, they got some Leapsters, Buzz Lightyear toys, all of the Disney Princesses, shoes, games, clothes, cars, Strawberry Shortcake, and money

I got me some new clothes, my M.A.C. make-up brushes I really wanted, my HP-OOTP dvd I wanted, socks (they had a frog on them, lol), a very cool keepsake box my sister made me, a painting by David’s uncle Bob that I ABSOLUTELY adore (it had sheep!!), a big fat fluffy sheep that I wanted from Bath & Body Works, gift cards, and money!! I know I’m forgetting something since I had to ship a box back home from California that won’t get here until the 8th… if I wanted it here by Wednesday it would’ve still been over $100 bucks !! Ooooh let me not forget the BEAUTIFUL Chanel purse my sissy bought me!! I Love it ! As soon as things settle down I’ll take pics of what I got… oh and when my box gets here from CA, lol!

Took the kids to the SC Holiday Festival of Lights tonight since these are the last days it’s running since we didn’t get out to the island before the holiday’s. They loved it of course, I gotta say though… there is just something NOT right this year and I don’t think it’s really because David is in Iraq… I think it’s this bloody weather that doesn’t realize what flippin’ season we’re in ! Seriously people it was in the 70′s when I got home yesterday afternoon!! What’s wrong with the pic here? I left California and it was cold there!! It’s just not right I tell ya .

On a final note for tonight, Stephie shared this blog link with me and omg I about pee’d myself reading some of the posts !! So if you have a few minutes and need a good laugh and are not sensitive to a little swearing then go read Boobs, Injuries, & Dr.Pepper .

So I got in yesterday afternoon Yay!! I swear after those long flights I was so thrilled to get out of the airport FINALLY!!! My @ss was sore as all heck… still is matter of fact also I don’t know what I did, but somewhere in my 30 minute power nap on the 2nd flight I did something to my jaw It’s been sore now since yesterday and has not decreased in pain *sigh*.

I took the kids today and visited with my Grandma and my Great Aunt this morning, they loved it and enjoyed the hugs… me more than them I think, I love my grammy and auntie. Then we spent the afternoon at my mom’s house since my mom couldn’t get today off since she had meetings and stuff to do today so we just bummed it. Later in the evening my sister Jen picked me up and took me to this really nifty Japanese restaurant that I absolutely fell in love with. My brother and her boyfriend met us there and we had a blast just yappin’ for about 2 hours, lol! In case you’re wondering, my kiddo’s stood behind with my younger sister Ruth since one is VERY picky about what she eats and nothing on these menu’s would pass by her that’s for sure… so they had eaten just before I left the house so it was really pointless to take them and have to pay for something they probably wouldn’t eat. They have no idea what they missed out on

I have no clue what the plan is tomorrow, but I do know my mom has a few places she wants to take me in mind . I did manage to get my email’s downloaded… THANKFULLY, because I was gong through some serious email withdrawals, lol! Anyhoo, I’m pretty well pooped now so I think I’m gonna go hit the hay with my kids who have been asleep for almost 3 hours now

Oh btw, the kids did well on the flights and during the layover… even Michael did really well using the potty
